Thailand’s PTT announced that it will launch PTT UltraForce Diesel at PTT service stations nationwide on February 1, 2018.

A press conference was held by PTT PLC executives Tevin Vongvanich, president and chief executive officer; Auttapol Rerkpiboon, chief operating officer, Downstream Petroleum Business Group; and, Jiraphon Kawswat, senior executive vice president, Oil Business Unit, to discuss the benefits of this new fuel technology which will be available in regular and premium grades.

Tevin said that apart from ensuring national energy security and continuous availability of product supply, PTT is a leader in research and development (R&D) having the largest frontier R&D center in Southeast Asia. The R&D center is responsible for developing international standard, economically priced and environmentally friendly products.

PTT formulated “UltraForce Diesel” to differentiate its fuel technology from competitors, the company explained.

PTT UltraForce Diesel contains the “world’s first special additive to offer maximum performance,” according to the company. PTT UltraForce Diesel is a leading-edge diesel innovation for all types of diesel engines, with clean fuel technology to help clean nozzles quicker, the company said, and contains a significant amount of cetane to maximize engine performance.

The product is “the finest quality standard with the lowest-cost in the premium diesel market in Thailand,” PTT claims.

“PTT has continued to develop and innovate excellent products to stand out in business as well as design new concepts for service stations under PTT Living Community. With this concept, PTT will provide products, services and activities to meet the needs of consumers while providing opportunity for all sectors in society advancing together towards sustainable growth,” Tevin said.
