Puma Energy enters Swaziland’s lubricants market

SWAZI Lubricants has been named as the official distributor of Puma-branded lubricants in Swaziland, officially the Kingdom of Eswatini, and one of the smallest countries in Africa.

Company officials expressed their excitement to be the first and official distributor of Puma lubricants.

“We are happy to be associated with the brand and can assure the nation that we are bringing nothing but quality in the market,” said Swazi Lubricants Director Dan Simelane.

The new business adventure, according to Simelane, was in line with the King’s vision to take the country towards a first world status.

“In my experience working outside the country, one can mention that this is a good platform to take the country to a first world status where we serve the nation with the best products,” said Simelane.

“Our intention is to grow with the nation as we are also on a mission to spread our wings in the whole country which will bring both business growth and more employment to the nation,” he said.

The business will use Talisman Hire, a sister company of Swazi Lubricants as a distribution company.

Puma Lubricants Technical Advisor in Africa, Calvin Ranjit, reinforced Puma Lubricants’ quality. “We are producing high-performance lubricants, which are suitable for both diesel and petrol engines,” he said.

Parent Puma Energy, which operates across 47 countries and five continents, has put more than two decades of knowledge and expertise into its lubricant offering. Puma Energy re-launched its range of lubricants in 2014 with the vision to offer high quality and affordable lubricants to its customers.

Puma Lubricants’ sales have aggressively expanded globally over the past three years. Puma Lubricants are marketed across Africa in countries such as Angola, the Republic of Congo, Mozambique, Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Similarly, the company markets its lubricants products in Central America, including Honduras, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Peru, Columbia… and in Asia-Pacific, including Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Puma Energy’s strategy is to become one of the leading brands in the lubricants industry by offering unique, innovative, and state-of-the-art products that increase client productivity and protect their investments.
