Renmatix appoints Fred Moesler as vice president

U.S.-based Renmatix, a producer of cellulosic sugars in the state of Georgia, has appointed Fred Moesler to oversee the commercial production of the company’s cellulosic processing technology. Moesler, a bioindustrial engineering expert who comes to Renmatix from ZeaChem, will be the company’s vice president in charge of process technology. “Cheap cellulosic sugars will invigorate the entire bioindustrial space with improved economics. They’ll allow renewable fuels, chemicals and materials to be cost-competitive with petroleum-based products for the first time,” said Moesler. (August 17, 2011)
