Repsol says its new line of fuels are designed to optimize vehicle performance

Spain’s Repsol, an integrated and global energy company, which recently announced a 111% rise in net income at its downstream unit in 2014 due to improved refining and chemical margins, has unveiled a new line of fuels at its service stations.

The new line of fuels are said to be improved with a new third-generation formula, Neotech, which is “an exclusive and high quality formula that lengthens the vehicle’s lifespan and keeps it in its original conditions, allowing it to maintain the fuel efficiency guaranteed by the manufacturer.”

Repsol said that these fuels were specially designed to optimize vehicle performance, while controlling emissions, “all without increasing the final price.”

The new fuels also are blended with a marker, which provides a “fingerprint” of the fuel, preventing potential fraudulent activities, such as fuel adulteration.

The new Neotech line is available at Repsol stations, in diesel (Diesel e+ and Diesel 10 e+) and petrol (Efitec 95 and Efitec 98), and visibly identifiable by their blue colour.

The new fuels are made to meet the highest automobile manufacturer standards, exceeding the strictest recommendations on efficiency and emissions control specified by key auto manufacturers in the Worldwide Fuel Charter (WWFC), the company said.
