Savita Oil appoints Sood as president of Lubricants Division
Savita Oil Technologies Limited announced the appointment of Vishal Sood as president – Lubricants Division.
Sood succeeds Sunil Aima, CEO of Savita’s Lubricants Division, who retired on 18th June 2021. Sood will be responsible for both automotive and industrial lubricants and will be reporting to the managing director.
Sood holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and a B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Sood brings more than 28 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer relations management (CRM), logistics and business development. He has worked in diverse industries in engineering, lubricants, telecom, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), cement and construction materials.
Savita Oil Technologies, based in Mumbai, India, has three manufacturing facilities. One is located in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and the other two in Silvassa – Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli at Kharadpada and Silli. The company’s latest plant in Silli is a fully automated state-of-the-art lubricants manufacturing unit that started operations in 2013.
