Shell Philippines inaugurates new bulk lubricant storage facility

Shell Philippines and PRESAM Construction General Services, Inc. recently inaugurated the 34th North Lubricants Exchange Hub bulk facility in Tiaong, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

The 34th North Lubricants Exchange Hub will handle Shell’s bulk lubricant storage and distribution for customers in Luzon and some parts of Visayas and Mindanao, replacing the shuttered bulk lubricant storage facility in Pandacan, Manila, where Petron’s and Chevron Philippines’ storage facilities were also located.

The bulk facility has 16 tanks for the storage of 11 products ranging from marine oil, engine oil, industrial oil, and hydraulic oil.

LSC Logistics Manager for Asia Pacific Jack Heng and Lubricants Business Manager for Philippines and Thailand Dennis Javier spearheaded the construction of the bulk lubricant facility.

“The interconnection between SLEX and NLEX places the facility in a strategic position, making it ideal for storage solutions and customer access,” said PRESAM President Archie Cruz.
