Solar-powered “tuk tuk” launched in Bangkok

Thailand has created the first auto rickshaw (tuk tuk) powered entirely by solar energy – an effort to help preserve the environment and combat the on-going global warming crisis. Clean Fuel Energy Enterprise Co. Ltd. Chairman Air Marshal Morakot Charnsomruad is the brainchild behind the solar three-wheeler named “Arun Sawasdi.” (June 30, 2010)
