SONGWON announces new appointments in key leadership positions

South Korea’s SONGWON Industrial Co., Ltd. announced leadership changes to enhance and expand the company’s management team and position the organization optimally for continued value creation.

Elena Scaltritti assumes the position as division leader of Industrial Chemicals for SONGWON, which includes the Polymer Stabilizers and Fuel and Lubes businesses. She has also been appointed a member of the Executive Committee. Gerard Mulqueen will take on the role of leader, Fuel & Lubes business unit.

In the past four years, Scaltritti was responsible for leading SONGWON’s global Polymer Stabilizers, as well as for the development of the strategic business plan. With the organization since 2011, she has played a major role in advancing SONGWON’s position as a global industry leader in polymer stabilizers. In the interim, Scaltritti will continue as leader of Polymer Stabilizers, where she will foster deeper alignment and capitalize on the benefits from synergy between the Polymer Stabilizers and Fuel & Lubes businesses.

Mulqueen joined SONGWON in 2016. As global business manager for Fuel & Lubes, he has been responsible for developing the company’s strategic growth strategy to enhance SONGWON’s presence in the automotive and industrial lubricant market segments. Over the past few years, he has been instrumental in increasing the depth and breadth of SONGWON’s Fuel & Lubes portfolio. In his new role as leader, Fuel & Lubes business unit, Mulqueen will drive growth for the business unit.
