Stellantis boosts North American Parts Business with bproauto

Stellantis has unveiled bproauto, a competitively priced private-label replacement parts line. This initiative is designed to cater to a wide range of vehicles, from older models to the latest, both domestic and imported. The introduction of these new brake pads is a testament to the brand’s commitment to quality and performance.

The bproauto line complements Mopar, Stellantis’ global brand for original-equipment parts and genuine accessories. Mopar, a blend of the words MOtor and PARts, was established in 1937, offering service, parts, and customer care globally.

The launch of bproauto is in line with the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, aiming to bolster sales in the independent aftermarket. These aftermarket parts are not only cost-effective but also come with a standard two-year/unlimited-mile warranty. This assurance speaks volumes about the quality and reliability of the products.

This move is a response to the dynamic shifts in the aftermarket, especially with the increasing complexity of vehicles transitioning to electrification.

Mike Koval, head of Mopar North America, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch. “With bproauto, we’re enhancing the customer experience by offering a competitively priced, high-quality parts line. While Mopar remains our global brand, bproauto provides an alternative for almost all brands and vehicles,” he said.

Currently, bproauto offers 30 parts categories for most vehicle makes and models. This range is set to expand, supporting the automotive repair industry’s ongoing evolution. Some of the available parts include air filters, batteries, brake pads, brake rotors, hub bearings, oil and oil filters, and tire-pressure monitoring systems. The brand also plans to introduce additional high-quality products, such as ABS sensors, ignition coils, A/C compressors, lubricants, and more.
