Sullair and Dow Chemical unveil Sullube

Sullair, a manufacturer of air compressors and aftermarket products, announced the launch of a newly enhanced air compressor lubricant, Sullube. It is a high-performance, polyglycol-based lubricant produced by Dow Chemical.

Sullube was originally released nearly 30 years ago and is used in more than 50,000 compressors across the world. It has been adapted specifically to the needs of modern rotary screw air compressors. It prevents the formation of varnish, and the new formulation can improve lubricant life up to 10,000 hours.

In addition to having a supplier/customer relationship, Dow and Sullair are unique in that Sullair services Dow’s own air compressors as well.

Dow Chemical is the largest chemical company in the United States. It is based in Midland, Mich.
