Total Lubrifiants and Mazda Motor Corp. renew partnership in Europe

Total Lubrifiants, which is headquartered in Paris, France, and Japanese automaker Mazda Motor Corp. have renewed their partnership until 2020.  The partnership ensures the continuation of Total’s exclusive supply of Mazda genuine oils to its dealership networks spanning more than 45 countries, mainly in Europe. Total supplies about 2,300 garages, repair shops and authorised dealers.

Total said that Mazda cars have travelled more than 140 billion kilometres since the partnership was first established and development work has seen products specifically created for the brand’s Skyactiv engine range.

“Our partnership with Total is strategically important for Mazda and for our customers,” said Jeff Guyton president and CEO of Mazda Europe. “With the development of our new generation engines, excellent lubrication performance is essential for the performance and durability of the engines. The benefit from using Mazda original oil is obvious for our dealers and our customers.”
“The technological innovations incorporated into our lubricants are a decisive factor for the continued development of new engines and new engine technologies,” said Philippe Charleux, Total Lubrifiants chairman and CEO.
