Viva Energy expands marine refuelling capabilities in Australia

Viva Energy announced the expansion of its marine refuelling capabilities for commercial and recreational vessels, with the opening of a state-of-the-art fuel facility in the heart of Sydney Harbour in Australia.

Viva Energy has been supplying marine fuel for more than 100 years through pipeline, barge and road tanker bunkering operations.

“We are excited to announce that we now offer refuelling capability for small to medium enterprise customers at our White Bay 6 fuel facility at White Bay, Sydney Harbour,” Viva Energy said.

White Bay 6 is one of Australia’s largest marine refuelling facilities and will support small and medium marine customers.

White Bay 6 can refuel both commercial and recreational vessels with easy mooring. The refuelling pontoon at White Bay 6 has both diesel and premium unleaded 95 that can be pumped up to 80 litres per minute. 5 commercial grade refuelling bunker dispensers along White Bay 6 wharf can pump between 200 to 1,000 litres per minute, reducing down time.

Full time staff are on site seven days a week to assist with refuelling. The facility can accommodate vessels up to 70 metres in length. Wharf fendering is designed to suit vessels up to 6,000 tonnes.

Additional services at White Bay 6 include water and sullage pumps.
