XOS appoints Compass Instruments as authorised partner and distributor for on-line analyzers across the U.S.

Compass Instruments, a leading manufacturer’s representative in the U.S. petroleum market, and XOS, the leading global provider of mission-critical materials-analysis equipment, have established a new partnership to distribute XOS’ on-line products across the U.S.

Under the new partnership, Compass Instruments will provide XOS with sales, distribution, logistics and after-sales services for their on-line products.

XOS offers two process analyzers: Sindie On-line for sulphur analysis of liquid hydrocarbons and Clora On-line for chlorine analysis in hydrocarbon or water. Both products use Monochromatic Wavelength Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (MWDXRF), a direct measurement technique that enables precise results in a solution that runs for months without calibration or maintenance.
