Argentina’s state-owned oil company YPF said it will begin manufacturing and distributing Gulf Oil Marine lubricants from its lube blending facility in Brazil.

Its partnership with Gulf Oil Marine is part of YPF’s strategy to expand its lubricant market presence in Brazil and increase its participation in the international maritime and cabotage logistics sector.

Producing Gulf Oil Marine lubricants will allow YPF to enter the cabotage market in Brazil and participate in contracts within the Brazilian ports.

 Gulf Oil Marine lubricants includes three product lines for motors and cylinders, air compression and refrigeration units, and hydraulic transmission units.
