Zeller+Gmelin achieves key approvals for Divinol Multimax Oils
Zeller+Gmelin, a family-owned lubricant manufacturer based in Eislingen, Germany, has secured major approvals for its Divinol Multimax engine oil range. The newly certified products cater to a range of heavy-duty applications in the construction, forestry, agricultural, and transport sectors.
The company’s Divinol Multimax High Tech 15W-40 has received the Deutz DQC III-18 LA certification, while the Divinol Multimax LS-FE 5W-30 is now approved by Volvo (VDS-5), Renault (RLD-5), and Mack (EOS-5). Notably, Zeller+Gmelin is the first medium-sized company to achieve the Volvo VDS-5 approval.
The Divinol Multimax High Tech 15W-40 is engineered for heavy-duty engines in industries such as construction and agriculture. The Deutz certification underscores the oil’s exceptional thermal stability, ensuring robust performance even under harsh operating conditions. Andreas Krapf, product manager for Automotive and Special Vehicle Products, remarked: “With this Deutz approval and other existing approvals for Divinol Multimax High Tech 15W-40, we are emphasising our position as a reliable partner for applications that require the highest levels of resilience and performance.”
“Especially in the forestry, agriculture and construction industries, reliable operation of machines under extreme conditions is crucial,” he said.
The Divinol Multimax LS-FE 5W-30, equipped with low-SAPS technology, caters to modern truck engines meeting stringent emission standards. Its reduced ash content ensures optimal operation of exhaust after-treatment systems like catalytic converters and particle filters. The oil also supports extended drain intervals, reducing operational costs and environmental impact.
With these certifications, Zeller+Gmelin continues to expand its market presence, offering solutions for highly stressed engines across diverse industries.
