Jiffy Lube announces new president

Steve LedbetterHouston-based Jiffy Lube International Inc., a subsidiary of Shell Oil Co., has named Steven Ledbetter as its new president.
Ledbetter succeeds Stum Crum, who left Jiffy Lube after two years in the role to become president of Bridgestone Retail Operations for Nashville-based Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, on Aug. 5.
Ledbetter joined Shell in 1999. He has worked in several leadership positions within the company, including finance, business strategy and sales. Most recently, he was the director of business to consumer key accounts in North America, where his team managed large-volume installer customers for the Shell lubricants business.
“I am excited to be leading this iconic brand and business, and I look forward to working to ensure that we continue to set the pace for the preventive maintenance industry,” Ledbetter said in a statement.
Ledbetter has a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance from Texas A&M University.
Jiffy Lube is a chain of more than 2,000 businesses in North America offering oil changes and other automotive services.
