MÜNZING spearheads AI partnership for chemical product innovation

MÜNZING, a leading global manufacturer of specialty chemicals and additives headquartered in Abstatt, Germany, has launched an innovative collaboration with artificial intelligence (AI) firm Aleph Alpha and digital transformation expert adesso to accelerate product innovation through AI.

The globally active IT service provider from Dortmund, Germany, is acting as an experienced implementation partner for Luminous, the multimodal AI language model from Aleph Alpha.

The cross-industry partnership aims to substantially enhance research and development activities, optimise formulations for greater sustainability, and unlock new market opportunities. It represents MÜNZING’s commitment to spearheading adoption of frontier technologies.

By combining exceptional AI capabilities with chemical and software engineering prowess, the initiative has already yielded an intelligent chatbot prototype to aid R&D efforts. Dubbed the MÜNZING Intelligence Chatbot (MIC), the tool is undergoing extensive trials.
