U.S.-based automotive lubricant and coolant supplier Old World Industries, LLC has acquired the automotive lighting business of U.S.-based lighting products manufacturer and distributor EiKO Global LLC.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction will bring an expanded portfolio of high-quality automotive and heavy-duty lighting products to Old World Industries customers in more than 50 countries around the world.

Headquartered in Shawnee, Kan., U.S.A., with offices in Canada, China, Europe, Korea and Taiwan, EiKO has participated in the automotive aftermarket segment since 1991, with products including halogen headlamp capsules, HID headlights, miniature lamps, sealed beam sand and other automotive lighting. EiKO was represented by Angle Advisors, LLC in the transaction.

Old World Industries will begin selling the company’s line-up of miniature and automotive lamps and automotive forward lighting immediately, while retaining the management team from EiKO.

“With automotive lighting products being added to a strong aftermarket player like Old World Industries, moving forward, this will undoubtedly create a stronger opportunity for the automotive business,” said Gary Withers, CEO of EiKO Global LLC.

Old World Industries, LLC is among the largest privately-held companies competing in the automotive aftermarket. The Northbrook, Ill., U.S.A.-based company has supplied the transportation industry with reliable, quality products for more than 40 years under brand names including PEAK, BlueDEF, and Final Charge.
