C3 Supports Dr. Thompson for LLS Woman of Year

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cell Culture Company (C3) announces its support of Rebecca Thompson, PhD
as a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Woman of the
Year.

The Man & Woman of the Year contest is an annual fundraiser event for
LLS. Over a ten-week period, leaders in the community campaign to raise
money for cancer research. The campaign culminates in a Grand Finale
Gala hosted at the St. Paul RiverCentre on May 19th. Last year, the
contest raised $38.4 million nationally for blood cancer research.

Dr. Thompson is the Vice President of Quality at C3. She oversees the
production of diagnostic and therapeutic products, many focused on
detecting and curing cancer. Her goal is to raise $100,000 under her
team name “Team Legacy.”
