TotalEnergies names senior VP for Aviation, Marine Fuels

In a strategic move to bolster its commitment to sustainable energy solutions, TotalEnergies has announced the appointment of Louise Tricoire as the senior vice president of its newly established Aviation and Marine Fuels division. Based in Singapore, this announcement marks a significant enhancement of TotalEnergies’ efforts to address the decarbonisation challenges within the aviation and maritime sectors.

Tricoire, previously instrumental in leading TotalEnergies Marine Fuels, expressed enthusiasm about her new role. “This expansion of my role marks a pivotal moment for the company as we accelerate our journey to address the complex decarbonisation challenges and opportunities within two key transport sectors on a global scale.”

Today’s operators in the aviation and shipping industries play integral roles in the international transportation landscape, and face significant regulatory changes and demands for sustainable solutions.

TotalEnergies’ Aviation sector has been a significant force in aviation refueling both in France and internationally for more than six decades, providing solutions that support the reduction of CO2 emissions and the development of airport facilities. The company’s Marine Fuels unit has more than 30 years of experience and serves a wide array of shipping customers across more than 130 ports in regions including Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa.

With the creation of this new division, TotalEnergies aims to synergise its aviation and marine operations, enhancing supply chain efficiencies and sharing best practices across both units. “With the combined expertise of our diverse and highly experienced teams, we are poised to enhance our offerings and drive substantial progress in sustainability,” Tricoire added.

This leadership change is expected to significantly influence TotalEnergies’ strategic direction in providing environmentally responsible fuel solutions, underscoring the company’s dedication to leading the energy transition in the transportation sector.
