On May 25, 2017, S&P Dow Jones Indices, a division of S&P Global, announced that Matador will be included in the S&P MidCap 400® Index effective prior to the market open on Friday, June 2, 2017. The S&P MidCap 400 is designed to provide investors with a benchmark for mid-sized companies. Matador will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Sub-Industry index.
