Chevron Oronite names quantiQ as new distributor in Brazil
Chevron Oronite Brasil, Ltda (COB) has signed an agreement naming quantiQ Distribuidora Ltda. as their distributor in Brazil. The agreement involves not only OLOA® lubricant additives, OGA® gasoline additives, and PARATONE® viscosity modifiers (VM). QuantiQ will also distribute Oronite chemicals, which encompasses a diverse product line of raw materials, intermediates, and components, including: PIBSA, inhibitors, detergents, dispersants, alkylphenol, alkylate, phenate, sulfonate, pentamer, and tetramer.
“The team at quantiQ is highly experienced in the lubricants, base oils, additives, and chemicals businesses, which makes them a welcome addition to the Oronite distributor network,” says Marcos Santos, sales manager, Latin America, Chevron Oronite. “The agreement compliments an existing partnership with Chevron in base oils distribution, providing a complete solution for the lubricant market.”
QuantiQ acquired the rights of distribution of Goaltech Produtos Químicos Ltda., who had been Chevron Oronite’s distributor in Brazil for lubricant and fuel additives. As the latest addition to a strong distributor network, the agreement with quantiQ further reinforces Oronite’s commitment to supporting lubricant providers in Latin America with the right products, services and technology solutions.
“We had a successful and long-term partnership with Goaltech and we thank them for their hard work. At the same time, we welcome our newest network source with quantiQ, which has a broad commercial and logistics structure and will continue to support our growth in the lubricant market in Brazil,” said Santos.
