HCS Group fills two key positions in production

HCS Group, a leading international supplier of solutions for high-value hydrocarbon specialties, announced that Dr. Andreas Schröder has been appointed to the Executive Committee (EC) with immediate effect. Schröder joined the company as senior vice president on 1 July 2019, assuming global responsibility for the group-wide Production and Technology as well as Environment, Health, Safety and Quality Management.

Schröder has more than 30 years of international experience in sales, production, engineering, controlling and general management in the chemical industry in Germany and abroad. Before he joined HCS Group, he worked for Ineos Styrolution and Evonik.

Dr. Henning Wartig has recently joined the company as site manager for the German production plant in Speyer. With his extensive knowledge in plant and process management gained in his former positions at BASF and Thor, he contributes to further enhance the operation and productivity of the Haltermann Carless production site including, the construction and commissioning of the new hydrogenation plant.

The HCS Group includes the brands Haltermann Carless, ETS Racing Fuels and EOS. HCS Group has about 500 employees and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The company belongs to H.I.G. Europe, a subsidiary of the U.S. private equity company, H.I.G. Capital.
