China’s sales of new-energy vehicles in first quarter exceeds 10,000 units

Statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) show that the country’s new-energy vehicle sales reached a total of 10,202 units in the first quarter of this year, compared to 8,159 units during the same period last year. Of the total, sales of pure electric vehicles reached 1,830 units; sales of hybrid vehicles reached a total of 1,400 units; and sales of gasoline substitute-powered vehicles reached 6,873 units.
