Khazak president visits Shymkent motor oil plant

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev surveyed the work of the only motor oil plant in Shymkent, the capital city of South Kazakhstan Province. The enterprise Hill Corp. LLC was built within the framework of the program on forced industrial innovative development of Kazakhstan. It produces all types of motor oil, with production capacity at 70,000 tons per year. Executive Manager Bakhadyr Saidullayev said that 700,000 tons of fuel and lubricant are needed by the country annually and that 25 to 30% of domestic demand could be dealt with. He also said that the price for domestic motor oil would be 15% lower than imported products. (September 28, 2010)
