Safety-Kleen appoints chief marketing officer

Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. has appointed Curtis C. Knapp chief marketing officer and senior vice president. Knapp will be the company’s first-ever chief marketing officer, responsible for all aspects of Safety-Kleen’s marketing, corporate image and brand initiatives. Robert Craycraft, CEO and president said, “In today’s business world, marketing and communications are more important than ever, and I am very pleased to have Curt Knapp, with his deep marketing and industry experience, filling this vital new role from day one.” Knapp joined Safety-Kleen in December 2008 as vice president of channel marketing.
