Quaker Houghton appoints Tom Coler as new CFO

Quaker Houghton, a global leader in industrial process fluids, has announced a significant change in its executive team with the appointment of Tom Coler as the new executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective June 10, 2024. Coler will be taking over from Shane Hostetter, who has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities after a commendable tenure since 2021.

Coler brings a robust background in finance, having held several leadership roles across various industries. Before joining Quaker Houghton, Coler served as the CFO at Savage Companies, a global supply chain and logistics service provider, since October 2022. His career also includes significant stints at H.B. Fuller Corporation, where he was the vice president of Finance from 2017 to 2022, and earlier roles at Polaris Industries, Ecolab Corporation, and Boston Scientific. His expertise extends across financial planning, corporate development, and integrating technological solutions into finance practices. Coler holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Hostetter will assist in the transition until his departure on August 4, 2024, ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities.
