Bizol Grenvo introduces new Green Oil lubricants to India

Bizol Grenvo (BG) has expanded its product portfolio to include a range of lubricants for commercial and passenger vehicles under the Green Oil name. The oils are the Green Oil 10W-40 for commercial vehicles, as well as 5W-40 and 5W-30 for passenger cars. The Green Oil products have been introduced in five continents, but are new to India.

Siddarth Sacheva, managing director of BG, explained at the launch that the products are developed with India’s demanding and harsh traffic environment in mind.

BG mostly caters to the aftermarket, but is hoping to expand to OEM factory fills as well. According to sources close to the company, BG has already received approvals from OEMs including Daimler, MAN, Volkswagen and Volvo.

The company is working towards expanding its market presence in India. It has thus far focused on the northern states, and is expanding into the south. Within the year, it also plans to grow its number of dealers from 20 to 100. Currently, the whole product line is manufactured in Germany. The company is looking into investing in a blending facility in India.

BG is a joint venture between Bizol, a German lubricant manufacturer, and Grenvo, an Indian lubricant marketing and distribution company with more than 30 years of experience in the domestic market.
