AVISTA and Veikko Lehti announce strategic partnership

AVISTA OIL Danmark A/S and Veikko Lehti Oy announced a strategic partnership to improve used oil management and promote the circular economy in Finland and the Nordics.

AVISTA OIL Danmark is part of the AVISTA OIL AG, a company that operates in several European countries and the USA.

The partnership between AVISTA OIL and Veikko Lehti is a perfect fit of companies with shared  values and goals. Sustainability and environmental protection is the core value of both  companies. 

AVISTA OIL is the dominant provider of sustainable solutions for used oil  management, including re-refining used oil into sustainable base oils with a significant carbon  reduction of up to 90% less global warming potential (GWP) compared to virgin base oil, according to AVISTA.

Veikko  Lehti is a trusted waste management service provider in Finland with national coverage in  numerous types of wastes, including used oil. By working together, the two companies aim to  improve the management of used oil, as well as promote the concept of a circular economy.

With the partnership, AVISTA OIL and Veikko Lehti will aim to close the lubricant value chain and create a  more sustainable business model by  reusing and upcycling used oil.
