Gazprom neft looks at acquiring refineries in Europe

Chief Executive Officer Alexander Dyukov of Gazprom neft said in a recent interview that the company is interested in acquiring refining facilities in Europe.  Dyukov said, “We are considering the possibility of buying refining assets in Europe. We plan to widen our gasoline stations network.” The company already owns an oil company and gasoline stations in Europe beyond the Balkans.  Reportedly, Gazprom neft is looking at acquiring stations in Bulgaria and Ukraine.  (June 9, 2011)
