Guangzhou Honda to launch new compact car in China

Guangzhou Honda Automobile, the Chinese joint venture (JV) between Honda and local automaker Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group (GAIG), plans to launch a new compact car in China. The model will be sold under a new brand in China, Li Nian, and will boast a gasoline (petrol) engine with a capacity of less than 1.6 liters. (January 21, 2010)
