Metabolix to set up Malaysia's first biodiesel stations

Malaysia is expecting to set up its first biodiesel stations before the end of the year. Metabolix (M) Sdn Bhd, with offices at Taman Permatang Sintok near Kepala Batas, plans to set up 500 stations throughout the country. Metabolix had signed agreements on June 29 to set up four stations in Penang, with Naufiz Enterprise and Sharizat Enterprise Sdn Bhd setting up one station each, and Faralli Biofuels Sdn Bhd two stations. Present at the signing ceremony were Ramlan Abd Jalil, company director, Wan Mohd Yusri Wan Jusoh, financial and business development director, Wan Zulkhari Wan Zakaria, sales and marketing director, and Akisah Ismail, Karisma Ganda Research and Consultancy Sdn Bhd director.
