Shell Lubricants launches new Shell Rimula R4X

Shell Lubricants has launched Shell Rimula R4X that offers superior triple protection to improve engine and oil durability in three critical areas – acid control and corrosion due to fuel burning, deposits and engine wear.
Shell Lubricants also announced the launch of the Shell Rimula “Win the Ride of Your Life” global promotion featuring a contest which will run from April 1 until June 30, 2013.
Six lucky Malaysian grand prize winners will not only go on a 5-day , 4-night VIP trip to Prague, Czech Republic, but will also enjoy the opportunity to ride on one of the 2013 European Truck Racing Championship trucks around the Autodrom Most circuit.
Speaking at the official media launch, Chia Uen-Li, cluster general manager, Shell Lubricants SEA-South, said that the new Shell Rimula R4X can help fleet owners and operators control maintenance and operating costs by providing a versatile one-oil solution for modern fleets.

Shell Rimula R4 X’s optimized detergent additive system uses detergents to reduce piston deposits, and soot dispersants to reduce sludge deposits in various parts of heavy-duty diesel engines more effectively and efficiently than ever. Shell Rimula R4X 15W-40 is the latest product to join the market-leading Shell Rimula range of high performance heavy duty diesel engine oils, following the introduction of the Shell Rimula R5 LE synthetic technology and Shell Rimula R6 LM fully synthetic oils last year.
Shell Rimula heavy-duty diesel engine oils have been developed for the latest on- and off-highway vehicles. They are designed to protect engines, thus helping to lower maintenance and fuel costs and increase reliability to keep vehicles running.
