Savant Group appoints Miller as chief operating officer
The Savant Group, based in Midland, Michigan, U.S.A., announced the appointment of Brian Miller as chief operating officer (COO).
Established in 1969, the Savant Group is a consortium of internationally recognized companies providing innovative products and services to the lubrication, transportation, energy, and manufacturing industries.
Prior to joining the Savant Group, Miller owned a successful consulting firm, guiding and transforming a wide range of client businesses to improve internal operations, increase employee and customer satisfaction, and capitalize on growth opportunities.
As a dynamic and strategic leader, Miller will ensure that both strategy and execution is aligned across the Savant Group of companies while improving the quality and digitalization of key processes. His hiring supports the achievement of strategic priorities and operational objectives for the Savant Group.
Miller has extensive training in six sigma and lean product and process improvement principles. He brings a strong background in business management, overseeing diverse functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, operations, sales, and IT. He is skilled in project and change management, design engineering, product/service development, and finance. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in Sales and Marketing and Logistics Management.
