KOP Surface products receives Chevron award

Oil and gas equipment supplier KOP Surface Products has received a Performance Award from industry giant Chevron. The annual award, which was received by KOP Surface Products’ support team in 2014, recognizes the high performance of equipment and services that were delivered to Chevron’s Thai operations over the course of the year. This is the fifth time KOP Surface Products has received the honour.

Mike Lussier, Sales and Marketing Manager of KOP Thailand, collected the award on behalf of the company and said: “We are honoured to receive this latest award from Chevron for our work with the company’s Gulf of Thailand operations. Chevron is a valued client to whom we have been supplying and maintaining wellheads and Christmas trees since 1992.”

KOP Surface Products has established itself as a key supplier to a number of on- and off-shore oil and gas plants in Thailand. While business activity in Thailand is under pressure because of the current challenges facing the industry globally, gas-for-electricity production in the country is providing some stability. To support its growing operations in Thailand, KOP Surface Products opened a new facility in the country at the end of January.
