Chevron Oronite to present at GOMA 2017

SAN RAMON, Calif., October 11, 2017 – Matthieu Vaslin, product line specialist, Industrial and Specialties Additives, Europe-Africa- Middle East, Chevron Oronite, will be presenting at the 2017 meeting of the Croatian Society for Fuels and Lubricants (GOMA). He will be giving a presentation titled Why Passenger Car Motor Oil is No Longer the Best Choice for Four Stroke Motorcycles, on Wednesday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m. “I will introduce the technical trends and evolutions between passenger car engine oil and 4-stroke motorcycle oil that lead to increasing divergence in oil formulation needs,” said Vaslin. “I will also explain how unique features of motorcycle engines call for specific performance from the engine oil and illustrate that a dedicated technology is the way forward to formulate an optimized and differentiated 4-stroke motorcycle engine oil.”

GOMA’s Lubricants and Base Oils Symposium is taking place in the Esplanade Hotel, Zagreb, Croatia from October 18 – 20, 2017. This 50th edition will focus on the latest market trends and industry developments.
