FUCHS announces personnel changes to Supervisory Board

FUCHS PETROLUB SE announced that its Supervisory Board will propose the election of COVESTRO AG CEO Dr. Markus Steilemann as a new member during the company’s Annual General Meeting to be held on May 3, 2022.

FUCHS PETROLUB SE is a German manufacturer of lubricants, and related speciality products with a global presence. The company’s headquarters are at Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, where the company was founded in 1931. FUCHS PETROLUB, a public company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, is the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer.

Following the Annual General Meeting, the Supervisory Board intends to elect Dr. Christoph Loos, CEO of HILTI AG, as chairman of the Supervisory Board, during the constituent meeting.

Loos has been a member of the Supervisory Board for two years.

As previously announced, Dr. Kurt Bock will resign from his Supervisory Board mandate and thus also from his position as chairman of the Supervisory Board of FUCHS PETROLUB SE at the end of the Annual General Meeting in May. Bock has been chairman of the Supervisory Board of FUCHS PETROLUB SE since May 2019.
