Savant Labs announce expansion of Customer Support Team
Midland, Michigan. As Savant Labs continue to grow, so has the customer demand for experienced technical talent from the lubrication industry. To meet this demand, a new role has been created and Sheli Porter has been added as the Technical Service Representative to the Customer Support Team.
An emphasis will be placed on building the customer experience providing test slate recommendations, data analysis, troubleshooting and recommendations to solve customers’ challenges.
This position also encompasses the customer technical support role for the Institute of Materials, which is the publisher of the world’s largest independent compilation of engine oil test data.
Prior to joining the Savant Labs, Sheli worked at Lubrizol-CPI Fluid Engineering in Midland, Michigan in a series of roles from laboratory technician to research chemist. Sheli brings over 13 years of industry laboratory experience as well as 5 years of experience in research and development of lubricant formulations and design of experiments.

Sheli holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Saginaw Valley State University, University Center, MI.
