Kawasaki extends partnership with MOTUL in Germany
Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has extended its partnership with French lubricant company MOTUL in Germany. Since 2020, the two companies have been working together. Kawasaki recommends MOTUL products for service and maintenance work. Their partnership has resulted in the Lime Green motorcycle oil which matches the typical Kawasaki color scheme.
The “Kawasaki Lime Green Edition by Motul 10W-40” has now achieved a high level of awareness among Kawasaki’s fan base. In addition to the color, the slight smell of lime is also a special feature of this motorcycle oil. But that is not the only advantage of the close cooperation between the two global corporations. For example, MOTUL gains essential insights for the further development of its lubricants from racing.
“The successful cooperation in Germany has already had a wide impact and has become a stepping stone to many other countries for both sides. There are now similar partnerships in 16 countries, including the United Arab Emirates,” said Armin Bolch, managing director of MOTUL Germany.
“Like few other brands, Kawasaki stands for great expertise in motorcycling. Whether on the race track or on the street—Kawasaki motorcycles are convincing with excellent performance. Against this background, it is very important to me that we can guarantee racing teams or private drivers maximum reliability and the best lubricating properties with our engine oils, even in extreme situations. In particular, the experiences from motorsport use give us important impetus for the permanent improvement of our products. We are already looking forward to the next three years.”
“With MOTUL we have found a lubricant and care product partner who has an extremely good sales network and a very large range of products for almost every application. This gives our dealers great security. On the other hand, the products are qualitatively and technologically first-class and therefore fit in very well with our premium claim. We are sure that the close cooperation will continue to pay off for our customers and for our companies in the years to come,” said Jürgen Höpker-Seibert, branch manager at Kawasaki Germany.
