Sinopec to boost gasoline production, debottleneck supply system

Sinopec, China’s largest oil refiner and oil products supplier, in a report about production and sales for the second quarter, said that less gasoline and more diesel fuel kept in its storage facilities has caused a conflict between production and sales. The company also said the crude oil transfer system and the building of storage facilities are causing bottlenecks in its supply system. In the second quarter, Sinopec said it will work hard to increase the production of gasoline, chemical light oil and products of high added value. (March 22, 2010)
