Shell Company of Thailand appoints new deputy country chairman

The Shell Company of Thailand has announced the appointment of Ath Hemvijitraphan as deputy country chairman. Ath will succeed Choochai Eiamrungroj, who officially retired at the end of last month.

In his new position, Ath will report to Asada Harinsuit, country chairman and vice president for retail business East, and regionally to Doug McKay, vice president for government relations Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore.

His role as deputy country chairman includes overseeing government relations and new business development activities.  Before being promoted to his new position, Ath worked in various departments in Shell Thailand for 35 years, within the sales and marketing field in fuels, lubricants and bitumen supply and distribution.

Ath holds a Master of Management degree from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Assumption University.
