VBASE Oil adds new low-viscosity grades to base oil portfolio
VBASE Oil Company, based in Pendleton, South Carolina, U.S.A., announced the expansion of its base oil product line with the addition of new low-viscosity offerings to complement the existing higher viscosity grades.
VBASE® base oils, which are based on Secondary Polyol EsterTM technology, provide exceptional hydrolytic and oxidative stability, according to the company. VBASE base oils are biobased, biodegradable, non-toxic, non- bioaccumulating and certified NSF HX-1, making them suitable for use in food-grade lubricants.
VBASE 32S and 46U bolsters VBASE Oil Company’s base oil lineup providing lower viscosity grade options of high-performance saturated oils and high stability, high value unsaturated oils. With the addition of these two new products, VBASE Oil Company now offers base oil solutions from ISO VG 32 to 100, which are suitable for use in a range of environmentally acceptable lubricant applications.
