Zeller+Gmelin unveils new oils for non-ferrous metal processing

German lubricant manufacturer Zeller+Gmelin has introduced four new high-performance cutting oils for non-ferrous metal processing.

The Multicut range includes Multicut Grind HP 15 NF for cylindrical or profile grinding, Multicut FSE HSC 15 NF for demanding high-speed machining, Multicut Basic HP 15 Extra NF as a universal product for steel and non-ferrous metals, and Multicut Plus 10 NF for conventional, medium-duty machining tasks.

These cutting oils are formulated to meet the specific requirements of non-ferrous metal machining, delivering exceptional results in terms of tool life and performance.

Sulphur additives are known to enhance the performance of non-water-miscible cooling lubricants. However, when it comes to non-ferrous metals, the resulting metal sulfide layer can be counterproductive, leading to increased corrosion and inferior part quality.

Zeller+Gmelin’s Multicut portfolio offers resource-saving cutting oils that address these technical challenges in non-ferrous metal processing.
